One of my friends sent me an email on pics of this bridge, a few months ago. I would definitely have a phobia on trying to drive on this bridge. LOL
Way too high for me!

It's a beautiful structure and you would not notice the height as you were driving over it - you are not peering over the parapet, you are in your car. Go and try it!

Could you imagine being the one that has to paint the bridge and change the lightbulbs at the top of the frame?!

I think if you are brave enough to cross it then you can go as fast as you like.

The Arthur Ravenel Bridge over the Cooper River in Charleston, SC uses a similar suspension, but it is nowhere near as long or as high. Nevertheless, it is both beautiful and impressive.
I have no desire to drive over the Millau Viaduct. I have a serious case of vertigo, and I don't need to put it to such a test.

I hope their engineers did a better job on this one than ours did on the I-35W Bridge in Minneapolis. If this one comes a tumbling down, there won't be any survivors. But it is a beautiful structure, and very impressive engineering.
